Non-musical history for today: In 1847 – The first group of rescuers reached the Donner Party. It wasn’t a malicious cannibalistic thing. They ate people who had succumbed to the cold Sierra Nevadas weather. They did what they had to to survive. But, still, we don’t like talking about it.
