Non-Musical history for today: 1924 –President Calvin Coolidge signed the Indian Citizenship Act into law, granting citizenship to all Native Americans born within the territorial limits of the United States. Well, that was mighty white of him… allowing them to be citizens of their own land and nation. What a novel idea.
