Non-Musical history for today: 1789 – The storming of the Bastille happened in Paris. This event escalated the widespread discontent in France into the French Revolution. Bastille Day is still celebrated annually in France. It’s their independence day. The Bastille was a political prison. You will read and hear me talk about France, especially Paris a lot, as Stephanie and I are both Francophiles.
