Non-musical history for today: In 1867, United States Secretary of State William H. Seward purchased Alaska from Russia for $7.2 million, about two cents/acre ($4.19/km2). Alaska is a beautiful state from what I can tell from pictures, but still, I have no desire to visit there.
Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for March 30.
Recorded in the Omniverus Podcast Studios at Liberty Plaza.
