Non-musical history for today: 1938 – In the United States, the House Un-American Activities Committee began its first session. This led to many Hollywood stars being “blacklisted” for ties to communism. It was yet another stupid time in our country. We have a lot of those.
Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for May 26.
