Non-musical history for today: 1997 – Diana, Princess of Wales, her partner, Dodi Fayed, and driver Henri Paul died in a car crash in Paris. I guess in a way it is musical because I was standing on a stage in a place called the Red Pepper Tavern when it was announced. Di, Dodi, Henri… none of them can rest in peace because it’s an ongoing thing.
Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for August 31.
Recorded in the Omniverus Podcast Studios at Liberty Plaza.
