Leslie and Tim welcome Brianna Cantwell, executive director of the Piedmont Wind Symphony, for an episode that blends orchestral work with her love of EDM. Brianna shares updates on upcoming PWS performances, including Hops and Horns and the American Gothic program, and highlights the caliber of guest artists coming to Winston‑Salem.
She also brings a full playlist of electronic favorites. Subtronics, Sudden Death, Griz, John Summit, and Excision all make the list as Brianna breaks down drops, rhythm, sound design, mosh‑pit culture, and the unexpected overlap between classical training and electronic production. It’s energetic, funny, and packed with music talk from two very different corners of the musical world.
